Grass Lake loses to Ravenna in Div. 3 state final

Grass Lake fell to Ravenna 4-2 in the Div. 3 state final held in East Lansing, Michigan, on June 13. Grass Lake took an early lead when Morgan Conrad's line drive allowed Mackenzie Hilberer to score in the first inning. Ravenna responded with a strong fourth inning, featuring two runs driven in by Reese Herremans and another two runs from Sydney Morrissey's grounder. Grass Lake mounted a late rally in the seventh inning with an RBI single from Chloe Hollifield, but ultimately could not close the gap before the game ended with a strikeout.
