More than 9,500 runners will participate in the Great Eastern Run in Peterborough on Sunday, featuring both half marathon and 5km events. The half marathon starts at 10:30 BST, while the 5km run begins at 09:00 BST. Changes to the half marathon route accommodate ongoing construction in the city, introducing new sections near Peterborough Museum. The event will support over 25 local charities.
