The Green Bay Packers enter the new season following a 9-7-1 record in 2025 and a first-round playoff exit. Head coach Matt LaFleur retains his play-calling duties while integrating Jonathan Gannon as the new defensive coordinator. The defense will shift from a 4-3 front to a 3-4 scheme, moving away from a primary Cover-3 look toward a disguised two-high safety system. Roster changes include the addition of defensive tackle Javon Hargrave and linebacker Zaire Franklin, while the team parted ways with edge rusher Rashan Gary and receiver Romeo Doubs. Edge rusher Micah Parsons remains on the mend following a season-ending ACL tear sustained last December and is expected to miss at least four games early this year.
