Green Bay Packers finalize initial 53-man roster for 2026 NFL season

The Green Bay Packers established their initial 53-man roster on August 30, 2026. The final group consists of 25 offensive players, 25 defensive players, and three specialists. The team retained six rookies, including five members of the 2026 draft class and undrafted wide receiver J. Michael Sturdivant. Sixth-round cornerback Domani Jackson was released during the final roster moves. Several players are currently designated for other statuses, including Josh Jacobs on the commissioner’s exempt list and three players on the physically unable to perform list. Additionally, the team placed wide receiver Savion Williams and edge rusher Collin Oliver on the injured reserve list with designations to return.
