Greenwich linebacker Justin Carroll leads defense for third straight title

Greenwich senior linebacker Justin Carroll prepares for his final high school season as the Cardinals aim to secure their third consecutive CIAC state championship. The program has never achieved three straight titles in its history. As one of only two returning defensive starters, Carroll is moving back to middle linebacker and taking on a larger leadership role. Coach Anthony Morello will also utilize Carroll as a running back in a committee approach, with projections of 10 to 15 touches per game. Carroll has already committed to play at Carnegie Mellon University for his collegiate career.
