Guadalajara youth squads defeat Atlético de San Luis in Apertura 2026

Guadalajara’s U-21 and U-19 academy teams secured road victories against Atlético de San Luis on Saturday during Matchday 7 of the Apertura 2026. The U-21 squad established an early lead with goals from Raúl Martínez, Gael García, and Hugo Mata, ultimately finishing with a 3-1 win at C.E. La Presa Stadium. Jesús Borjas scored the lone goal for the host side in the second half. Shortly after, the Guadalajara U-19 team also claimed victory, winning 2-0 behind two goals from Edgar Vargas. Vargas opened the scoring in the 15th minute and added his second strike in the 88th minute to finalize the result. Both matches took place at C.E. La Presa in Potosí, with Juan Antonio Rodríguez Espinoza officiating each contest.
