On August 1, the Cleveland Guardians traded catcher Bo Naylor and relief pitcher Codi Heuer to the Milwaukee Brewers. In exchange, the Guardians received relief pitcher Craig Yoho and outfielder Blake Perkins. Naylor's move comes after a struggle this season, where he batted just.143 in 28 games for Cleveland. The Guardians had previously acquired catcher Patrick Bailey, which contributed to Naylor's decreased role. The trade occurs ahead of the MLB trade deadline on August 3.
