Guglielmo Vicario joins Juventus on loan from Tottenham

Guglielmo Vicario joined Juventus on a season-long loan on August 18 following a summer transfer move from Tottenham. The goalkeeper, who made 117 appearances for the London club, was sidelined early in manager Roberto De Zerbi’s tenure due to a hernia and subsequently lost his position to Antonin Kinsky. Vicario credited the manager for supporting his departure and described the relationship as professional and direct. The loan agreement includes a 10 million euro option for Juventus to make the transfer permanent. Tottenham remains winless in the Premier League this season following a goalless draw against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, which followed earlier losses to Brentford and Newcastle.
