GVSU sports highlights notable achievements during 2025-26 year

Grand Valley State University athletics had a significant year in 2025-26, featuring multiple championship wins and important developments. The GVSU women's basketball team successfully defended its NCAA Division II title, defeating Indiana University-Pennsylvania 72-49 on March 28. The men's track and field team claimed the NCAA championship on May 23 with a total of 66 points. Additionally, the women's cross country team secured its eighth NCAA Division II title on November 22. GVSU also announced plans for a renovation of the Raleigh J.
