Hackenberg earns Footballer of the Week honors for Marcellus

Cale Hackenberg of Marcellus Wildcats has been named Footballer of the Week, presented by Glen Oaks Community College. He received a total of 16,643 votes, which accounted for 61.4 percent of the total 27,980 votes cast. Hackenberg completed all three of his passes for 82 yards and two touchdowns in a recent game where Marcellus triumphed 66-0 over Muskegon Heights Academy. This is the third time this season that a Marcellus player has won the award, following teammates Martelle Enright and Blake McWilliams. Hackenberg's achievement highlights the team's strong performance this season.
