Haeran Ryu captures KPMG Women’s PGA for her first LPGA major title

Haeran Ryu claimed her first LPGA major title at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship on June 28, 2026, in Chaska, Minnesota. After trailing by 10 strokes following the first round, Ryu changed her putter and surged to victory, finishing two strokes ahead of leader Ina Yoon. Earlier in the tournament, Ryu had taken time off for surgery in South Korea but returned to secure her fourth career LPGA win. World No. 1 Nelly Korda's bid for a third consecutive major ended with a tie for eighth, as she struggled early in the final round.
