Hagerty defeats Winter Springs 33-25 in penalty-heavy season opener

Hagerty began its football season Monday night by overcoming Winter Springs 33-25 in a game marked by 26 total penalties. After two prior postponements, the Huskies fell behind 25-20 following a third-quarter surge by Winter Springs that included three consecutive touchdowns. Hagerty regained the lead in the fourth quarter behind a touchdown run from freshman running back AD Santiago-Lopez.
