Hagos Gebrhiwet prepares for marathon debut at Sydney Marathon 2026

Hagos Gebrhiwet is set to make his marathon debut at the Sydney Marathon 2026 on August 30. The Ethiopian runner, known as the second-fastest 5,000m athlete in history, will transition to the marathon distance after achieving notable performances in both the half-marathon and 5,000m events.
