Haiden Deegan secures his first 450 class victory at SMX Playoffs

Haiden Deegan swept both motos at the opening round of the 2026 SuperMotocross Playoffs in Columbus, Ohio, to claim his first career 450 class victory. Competing at Historic Crew Stadium, Deegan overcame challenging, muddy track conditions to lead the field after passing Jorge Prado on the second lap of the first moto. Ken Roczen finished second overall with consistent performances in both races, while Cooper Webb took third. The event marked a difficult day for championship contender Hunter Lawrence, who suffered two separate crashes throughout the day. Jorge Prado now holds the championship lead following a third-place finish in the first moto and a fourth-place result in the second. The SMX Playoffs will continue with two remaining races in the series.
