Haissem Hassan left out of Real Oviedo squad amid Celtic interest

Haissem Hassan has been omitted from Real Oviedo’s squad for an upcoming pre-season friendly against Nurnberg. The winger returns from an extended summer break after representing Egypt at the World Cup, where his performance increased interest from clubs, including Celtic. Hassan has been working on his fitness away from the main group. The 24-year-old had a challenging season, failing to score in 38 appearances as Oviedo was relegated from La Liga.
