Hampshire's Toby Albert signs multi-year deal through 2028

Toby Albert has signed a new multi-year contract with Hampshire, securing his position at the Utilita Bowl until at least the end of the 2028 season. The 24-year-old wicketkeeper was Hampshire's top run-scorer in the 2025 Vitality Blast, contributing 633 runs, including six fifties, as the team reached Finals Day for an 11th time. Albert expressed his pride in representing his home club and his desire to help the team compete for more trophies. Giles White, Hampshire's director of cricket, praised Albert as an integral part of the squad and noted his development through the club’s pathway.
