Hamza Abdelkarim shines for Barcelona in pre-season friendly against Birmingham

Hamza Abdelkarim delivered an impressive performance for Barcelona in a pre-season match against Birmingham City on August 1, scoring two goals within 60 minutes. As Barcelona searches for a new center-forward, the 18-year-old proved himself a viable option, highlighting his potential and adaptability on the pitch. His initial goal came from a penalty he won, followed by a quick reaction to a rebound for his second. With this display, Hamza has strengthened his case for inclusion in Hansi Flick’s first-team squad as the season approaches, having previously performed well at the Under-19 level and with Egypt in the World Cup.
