Hanover Park volleyball team to host fundraiser for cancer support on October 14

The Hanover Park volleyball teams are organizing a fundraiser on October 14 for The Strong Momma Foundation, which supports mothers in North Jersey battling cancer. This event is in honor of Cristina Pignataro, who founded the nonprofit during her own treatment for Stage 2 metastatic breast cancer. The fundraiser will be the Hornets' third for the foundation, which aims to empower women facing cancer with care packages and support. Additional volleyball programs across Morris and Sussex counties will also conduct similar October events to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
