Hansi Flick accepts blame for goal allowed by Xavi Espart in Barcelona win

Barcelona secured a 4-2 victory over Levante at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia on Sunday, moving to five wins from five in La Liga. Xavi Espart opened the scoring, followed by two goals from Lamine Yamal to build a 3-0 lead. Levante narrowed the gap to 3-1 after a misplaced pass by Espart led to an Iván Romero score. Manager Hansi Flick accepted responsibility for the goal, stating he had intended to substitute the defender shortly before the error occurred. Levante threatened a late comeback before substitute Karim Adeyemi recorded the final goal for Barcelona. Flick praised Adeyemi’s focus and quality following his performance in the match. The manager also noted the dry pitch conditions as a factor that complicated the team's ability to maintain a calm tempo during the second half.
