Hansi Flick evaluates the current defensive rotation at Barcelona

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick addressed the status of Jules Kounde on Saturday, noting that the Frenchman is currently competing for a regular starting position. Kounde began the season behind Eric Garcia in the rotation for the right-back spot. While Kounde previously held a firm role in the starting lineup, Flick emphasized that the current configuration reflects the team's immediate tactical needs. The manager praised the professional conduct of the defender during this transition period. Flick confirmed that Kounde is putting in the necessary work to regain his status as an undisputed starter in the defensive unit. The club expects the defender to demonstrate the form that established him as a key contributor in his previous seasons with the team.
