Hansi Flick keeps Lamine Yamal on the wing for Barcelona

Hansi Flick has decided to continue using Lamine Yamal on the right wing for FC Barcelona, despite Yamal's aspirations to play centrally in the future. The coaching staff believe Yamal's skills are best utilized in his current position where he can exploit space created by new signings Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi, as well as Raphinha. Flick previously experimented with Yamal in a central role but such plans are not part of the immediate strategy. Barcelona is also looking to add Julian Alvarez to further bolster their attacking options this summer.
