Hansi Flick targets Finn Jeltsch amid Real Madrid interest

Summary

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has endorsed a move for Stuttgart defender Finn Jeltsch, setting the stage for a transfer rivalry with Real Madrid. The 20-year-old centre-back has garnered attention for his performances in the Bundesliga, prompting interest from top clubs including Liverpool. Flick's familiarity with German football may influence Barcelona's recruitment strategy, particularly after missing out on Alessandro Bastoni. With Ronald Araujo recently loaned to Liverpool, Barcelona seeks to strengthen their central defense ahead of next summer. Both clubs are anticipated to compete for Jeltsch following their El Clasico matchup next week.
