Hardik Pandya will not participate in the upcoming India A fixtures against Australia A, which start on October 6 in Puducherry. His return to competitive cricket is delayed due to recurring pain in his right shin. The injury has continued to hinder his recovery at the BCCI Centre of Excellence and also ruled him out of the Afghanistan T20Is. The BCCI medical team has recommended further rest, making his availability for the T20Is against New Zealand next month uncertain. Suryansh Shedge may replace Pandya in the India A squad for these fixtures.
