Hawaii women's volleyball relies on Panna Ratkai during homestand

College SportsHawaii women’s volleyball coach Joshua Walker credited the team’s adaptability after a recent tournament win at the Outrigger Invitational. The Rainbow Wahine are currently 4-2 on the season, continuing play without injured starting hitter Cha’lei Reid. Senior outside hitter Panna Ratkai filled the vacancy, recording 52 kills over the weekend and earning Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week honors. Supporting efforts from middle blocker Miliana Sylvester and setter Adrianna Arquette contributed to the team's success in the tournament. The program is now preparing for a two-match series against Central Arkansas at the Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center. These matches, scheduled for tonight and Friday at 7 p.m., conclude an eight-match season-opening homestand for Hawaii.
