Hearts sign Faroese winger Aron Benjaminsen to a four-year contract

Hearts completed the signing of 18-year-old winger Aron Benjaminsen from Vikingur Gota for an undisclosed fee. The player has committed to a four-year deal at Tynecastle, marking him as the club’s 12th signing of the summer. Before his time in the Faroe Islands, Benjaminsen spent time in the Skala academy and played for the Norwegian club Kristiansund in 2024. During his recent stint with Vikingur, he recorded seven goals and seven assists in 19 league appearances. He also contributed goals in both legs of the team's Conference League qualifier against Stjarnan. Benjaminsen is available for selection and could make his debut for Hearts in the upcoming Edinburgh derby against Hibernian on Thursday night.
