Helena scores late to edge Flathead 31-30 in thrilling matchup

Helena High rallied in the final minutes to defeat the Flathead Braves 31-30 at Legends Stadium on Friday night. With just 16 seconds remaining, Tyse Todorovich connected with Inn Thompson for a 10-yard touchdown, giving Helena its first lead of the game. Flathead had initially established a strong lead, going up 14-0 in the first quarter, but Helena fought back, with key plays from Reece Silvonen and a blocked punt that resulted in a safety. Despite outgaining Helena 402-266 in total yards, Flathead's late-game struggles allowed Helena to clinch the victory. Flathead's next challenge is against Big Sky in Missoula next week.
