This victory comes after the Lions previously lost to state-ranked Lindale. The Lions' record now stands at 3-3 overall and 2-1 in the district. They will have a bye week before facing the Jacksonville Indians at the Tomato Bowl on October 16. The Bulldogs, now 1-5 overall and 1-2 in the district, will also have a bye week before their next game against Bullard on October 16.
