England has added uncapped Sussex seamer Henry Crocombe and Derbyshire batter Aneurin Donald to the white-ball squad for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka. The three-match T20I series begins September 15 in Southampton, followed by three ODIs starting September 22. Crocombe earns his call-up after recording hat-tricks in consecutive County Championship appearances, while Donald is included following a successful season in the Vitality Blast and The Hundred. The squad sees the return of all-rounder Jamie Overton, who missed previous series due to a quad injury. Conversely, Brydon Carse remains excluded from the selection, and Phil Salt, Sam Curran, and Jacob Bethell are unavailable due to injuries. Brendon McCullum continues his role as white-ball head coach for the fixtures, which mark the conclusion of the home summer.
