Herald News honors top players in Spring 2026 All-Scholastic teams

The Herald News has recognized standout athletes from the Greater Fall River area's spring sports season. Joseph Case's softball team captured its fourth consecutive state championship, while Somerset Berkley reached the Division 2 final. Among individual accolades, Matt Sherry was named Baseball Player of the Year, and co-Players of the Year in softball include Lila Alvarez and Julia Costa. Boys Tennis Player of the Year is Brayden Dorego from Somerset Berkley, and Gloria Moniz from Diman earned the Girls Tennis honor. Other notable winners include Ben Deady and Aiyanna Massie in track and field from Joseph Case.
