High Point University achieves top 25% finish in Directors' Cup standings

High Point University concluded a historic year by securing a position in the top 25% of NCAA Division I schools in the LEARFIELD Directors' Cup, placing No. 88 out of 365 institutions with 236.50 points. This result reflects the Panthers' strong overall performance, highlighted by a school-record 16 conference championships and multiple NCAA Tournament appearances. Additionally, baseball player Frank Kelly was named to the College Sports Communicators Second Team All-America and 19 track and field athletes earned Academic All-District honors., pole vaulter Ricardo Montes de Oca was honored as the Big South Men's Field Athlete of the Year, and former basketball player Owen Aquino signed with Spanish pro team Morabanc Andorra for the upcoming season.
