Hiyu Yamakoshi of Van Amersfoort Racing achieved his first FIA Formula 3 victory during the Sprint Race in Monte Carlo on June 6, 2026. Yamakoshi started from reverse grid pole and led the race from start to finish, despite a red flag caused by an incident on Lap 2. After the race resumed, he maintained his lead over DAMS Lucas Oil's Gerrard Xie, who finished second for his first podium. Bruno del Pino, also from Van Amersfoort, secured third place, marking his second consecutive podium finish this season.
