Hoby Milner makes Mariners debut in loss against opponent bullpen

Seattle Mariners pitcher Hoby Milner made his team debut during Tuesday's game, entering in the bottom of the ninth inning with a five-run lead. The left-hander allowed a single to Roman Anthony and a home run to Jahmai Jones before finally ending his outing. Milner faced three hitters and surrendered two runs during his limited appearance. Manager Dan Wilson replaced him with Andrés Muñoz, who retired the final batters to secure the win. Seattle signed Milner to a minor league deal on August 31 following his release from the Cubs. He was added to the major league roster on September 1 as part of the team's expanded roster moves.
