Holland Christian girls golf team qualifies for state tournament

The Holland Christian girls golf team has qualified for the state tournament after scoring 408 at the Division 3 regional at Willow Wood Golf Club in Portland. The Maroons finished second, with Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian winning the regional with a score of 361. Junior Annika Kruithof led the Maroons with an individual score of 89, while senior Olivia Vangelder shot 101. Other team members included seniors Viola Cassel and Chloe Tait, who each scored 109, and junior Rebecca Boerman with 111. Other local teams did not qualify for state, including Zeeland West and Zeeland East in Division 2, where both teams finished lower in their respective standings.
