Holy Cross volleyball mourns death of incoming player Amanda Mack

Amanda Mack, a 20-year-old incoming volleyball player for the College of the Holy Cross, passed away on September 16 due to a rare blood disorder called severe aplastic anemia. Mack, who had formerly played at Eastern Kentucky University, was scheduled to begin classes this fall. Tributes were paid to her during a moment of silence at a Holy Cross football game and during a volleyball match. Coach Matthew Cribbin described Mack as enthusiastic and passionate about her future with the program.
