The Hope College football team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 38-10 victory over Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Saturday, Sept. 12. Playing their first home opener under the new Flying Dutch branding, the team controlled the game behind 258 rushing yards and five scores on the ground. Freshman Brody Schuiteman led the backfield with 121 yards and four touchdowns on 13 carries. The Hope defense limited the Pointers to 162 yards of total offense and successfully defended multiple third-down attempts throughout the contest.
