Hope volleyball coach Becky Schmidt reaches 600 career wins

Hope College volleyball coach Becky Schmidt recently secured her 600th career victory. This milestone makes Schmidt the 20th coach in NCAA Division III history to reach the mark. Currently in her 26th season at the program, Schmidt holds a career record of 600-176 and maintains one of the highest winning percentages in her division at.775. A Holland, Michigan native and former Hope standout, Schmidt has guided the team to an NCAA championship and six total appearances in the national quarterfinals. Home matches at DeVos Fieldhouse frequently draw record-setting Division III attendance numbers as the program maintains its national prominence. Schmidt continues to lead the program following a successful tenure that has transformed the team into a consistent contender in Division III.
