Horace Grant comments on Lakers' trade for Walker Kessler over Ayton

Summary

Horace Grant discussed the Los Angeles Lakers' acquisition of Walker Kessler, emphasizing that Kessler brings toughness and consistency that Deandre Ayton lacked. Grant noted that while Ayton is a talented player, the Lakers struggled with him as their starting center. Kessler, who averaged significant stats over his career with Utah, aims to fill this void. His first steps toward integration include attending a minicamp with teammate Luka Doncic. The Lakers are expected to have a better season with Kessler on their roster.
