Houston Dynamo acquire forward Lyle Foster on loan from Burnley

The Houston Dynamo secured South African striker Lyle Foster on loan from English club Burnley through June. Foster joins the Western Conference side following a tenure at Burnley that included appearances in the Premier League and the Championship. The 26-year-old forward has tallied 11 goals in 33 international appearances for South Africa and participated in the recent FIFA World Cup. Houston general manager Pat Onstad noted that Foster provides mobility and intensity to the team's attack. This addition comes as the Dynamo seek to strengthen their roster for the remainder of the season following the departure of Ezequiel Ponce and other summer roster adjustments. The loan agreement includes an option for the Houston Dynamo to make the transfer permanent.
