The Houston Rockets have spotlighted Hank Finkel, who wore jersey No. 17 during his time with the team from 1967 to 1969. Finkel contributed 8.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game while with the Rockets. Selected 17th overall in the 1966 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers, he briefly played for the Lakers before being traded to Houston.
