Houston Texans fans queue at Reliant Stadium for new rivalry gear

Houston Texans fans gathered outside Reliant Stadium early Tuesday morning to purchase merchandise featuring the team's new rivalry uniforms. The apparel release occurred despite the approach of Tropical Storm Edouard toward the city. The new uniforms, which incorporate Liberty White, H-Town Blue, and Battle Red, were developed as part of the NFL x Nike Rivalries Program. The design features aesthetic elements inspired by local street tiles and the Be Someone bridge. Fans were able to access the gear through the team shop and online retailers, with the Texans also planning to deploy a mobile shop truck to City Centre on Saturday. The uniforms are scheduled for their official on-field debut during the game against the Indianapolis Colts on Nov. 19.
