The Houston Texans released tight end Brevin Jordan on Sunday as part of final roster adjustments. Jordan, a 2021 draft pick, appeared in 36 games for the team between 2021 and 2023, recording 53 receptions for 532 yards and five touchdowns. His availability has been limited significantly in recent years due to a torn ACL in 2024 and a torn patellar tendon in 2025. A knee issue during training camp further hindered his ability to secure a roster spot, as he entered camp listed as the fourth tight end on the depth chart. Because Jordan has accrued more than four seasons in the NFL, he bypasses the waiver wire and is now an unrestricted free agent. Any team can sign him immediately as he seeks to continue his professional career.
