Hull FC announced the release of centre Arthur Romano on compassionate grounds, allowing him to return to France to be with his family. The 29-year-old joined Hull from Catalans Dragons on a two-year deal last September, making 15 appearances and scoring two tries. The club noted that Romano would join another Super League team in 2027 and that Hull FC would receive compensation for his transfer.
