Hull Kingston Rovers have signed Australian forward Eddie Hampson to a two-year contract ahead of the 2027 Super League season. The 23-year-old joins Hull KR from the Townsville Blackhawks in the Queensland Cup, where he scored 21 tries in 69 appearances. Hampson is the second signing for Hull KR under new head coach Nathan Cayless, following New Zealand outside-back Moala Graham-Taufa. The club finished sixth in the Super League and exited the playoffs in the eliminator round this past season.
