Hunter Black, a 6-foot-5, 215-pound EDGE prospect from Brazos Christian in Texas, has committed to TCU football. His announcement on June 13 marks him as the ninth addition to TCU's 2027 recruiting class and the second EDGE alongside Drake Carroll. Black recorded impressive stats during his junior season, achieving 25 tackles for loss and 14 sacks, while leading his team to a 12-1 record. He visited TCU on June 11 after previous visits to other schools including Tulane and Baylor. TCU's recruiting class is currently ranked 71st in the nation.
