Hunter Goodman hit three home runs in a single game on July 19 at Coors Field, marking the first time a Colorado Rockies player recorded two three-homer games in the same season. His homers, which included two off Hunter Greene and one off Sam Moll, raised his season total to 30. Goodman had previously accomplished the feat on June 27. Despite his personal achievement, the Rockies lost 9-6 to the Cincinnati Reds, dropping two of three in the series. Goodman's performance comes after a brief slump where he hadn't homered since July 1.

The All-Star catcher became the lone player in franchise history to turn in a pair of three-homer games in the same season.
