Hunter Green named to preseason All-Big Ten team for Washington Huskies

Punter Hunter Green has been selected to the Athletic's preseason All-Big Ten team as the first-team punter ahead of the upcoming season. The Washington Huskies will be represented by head coach Jedd Fisch and several players at the Big Ten Media Days from July 28 to July 30. Despite Washington being ranked seventh in the conference, Green is the only player recognized on any preseason all-conference list for special teams. He previously played for San Diego State, where he had strong performance metrics including a 47-yard average per punt and numerous punts downed inside the 20-yard line. Washington aims to leverage Green's skills to enhance their defense's field positioning this season.
