Hunter Lawrence leads Budds Creek Moto 1, Jett Lawrence finishes fifth

Hunter Lawrence secured a strong start in Moto 1 of the Budds Creek National in Mechanicsville, Maryland, regaining his points lead. Despite a challenging start that saw Jett Lawrence fall to 22nd, he fought back to finish fifth. Haiden Deegan began the race with the holeshot but lost ground to Hunter. Eli Tomac also had a notable performance but dropped from podium contention mid-race, with teammate Jorge Prado gaining a spot. Jett received a penalty for an off-track excursion but did not lose any competitive positions. Results for Moto 1 are forthcoming.
