Huntington Beach defeats Patrick Henry in regional baseball playoffs

Huntington Beach advanced in the Southern California Division I regional playoffs with a 10-3 victory over Patrick Henry. Jared Grindlinger contributed significantly by going four for four at the plate, hitting a home run, and striking out five batters in three innings pitched. Dane Cunningham also helped secure the win with a three-run home run. Following this victory, Huntington Beach will face the winner of Wednesday's matchup between Corona and Chula Vista Eastlake. In other playoff action, Cathedral Catholic eliminated St. John Bosco 4-2, ending St. John Bosco's run after two consecutive Division I titles.
