Hurricanes engrave owner Tom Dundon's family names on Stanley Cup

The Carolina Hurricanes celebrated their second Stanley Cup title by engraving the names of owner Tom Dundon’s family on the trophy. The engraving included 53 names, comprising 24 players and 22 staff, including head coach Rod Brind'Amour and general manager Eric Tulsky. Each team member will receive a day with the Cup, continuing a tradition upheld since the franchise's last win in 2006. Tom Dundon’s wife, Veruschka, and their five children are among those honored in this engraving, alongside the team members and staff approved by the Hockey Hall of Fame. The Hurricanes secured their title last month by defeating the Vegas Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Final.
