The Miami Hurricanes added three-star defensive lineman DeMarco Jenkins to their 2027 recruiting class on May 31, 2026. Jenkins, from Pearland, Texas, chose Miami over offers from several Texas schools, including SMU, TCU, and Texas A&M. Listed as the No. 51 defensive lineman in the 2027 class by 247Sports, Jenkins recorded 48 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, and seven sacks during his junior year. The Hurricanes see Jenkins as a nose tackle with strong fundamentals and a solid work ethic. He joins two other interior defensive linemen in Miami's recruiting class.
